The following tips can help you make your payments to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)
Save time and paper and receive proof of payment by paying your taxes through your financial institution's electronic payment options or through a third-party service provider.
Use My Account at www.cra.gc.ca/myaccount to view your personal income tax payments, set-up a pre‑authorized payment plan, or arrange direct deposit for your tax refunds and benefit payments.
Use My Business Account at www.cra.gc.ca/mybusinessaccount to view goods and services tax/harmonized sales tax (GST/HST),* source deductions, corporation income tax, and other business payments received by the CRA. For source deductions, you can view your remitting requirements or provide a nil remittance online. Starting now, you will be able to transfer payments and credits in real time from one period to another within your GST/HST,* corporation income tax, or other levies accounts.
Businesses can request additional remittance vouchers, payment searches, and credit transfers for GST/HST,* corporation income tax, and other levies accounts using our My Business Account or Online Requests for Business at www.cra.gc.ca/requests-business.
If you pay by cheque or money order, ensure the following:
you make the cheque or money order payable to the “Receiver General”;
the amount paid matches the amount on your remittance voucher; and
your social insurance number or 15-character Business Number is written on the back of the cheque or money order.
